Welcome to Skinny Dip • Puchong • Café & Restaurant, a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Puchong, Malaysia. Located at 115, Jalan Kenari 23, Bandar Puchong Jaya, 47100 Puchong, Selangor, this cozy café and restaurant promises a blend of vibrant flavors and comforting dishes that appeal to all food enthusiasts.
As a food reviewer of Foodjoyy, I was particularly drawn to their signature offerings. One standout dish is the Grilled Chicken Chop, featuring mouthwatering lemongrass-marinated chicken thighs that are both juicy and bursting with flavor. What sets this dish apart is its unique marinade, a well-guarded secret crafted from olive oil, garlic, and aromatic lemongrass, resulting in an irresistible savory profile. Paired with delectable Pesto-Cranberry Fried Rice and grilled vegetables, this dish is a beautiful harmony of tastes and textures.
If you’re in the mood for something lighter, their No Meat Vegetarian Pizza is a must-try. Made with in-house pizza dough and topped with a rich house-made tomato puree, melted mozzarella cheese, and a colorful array of toppings including shiitake mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and fresh rocket, this pizza is a feast for both the eyes and the palate at just MYR 27.00.
For those who enjoy a twist on classic flavors, the Carbonara Schnitzel is a game-changer. This dish features creamy fettuccine enveloped in a luscious sauce, accompanied by crispy chicken schnitzels that add a satisfying crunch. The combination of ingredients, including grilled chicken ham and parmesan strips, transforms this traditional plate into something truly extraordinary for only MYR 22.00.
At Skinny Dip, every bite tells a story, blending comforting traditional dishes with innovative culinary techniques. The warm atmosphere, paired with the rich array of flavors, makes it an ideal spot for casual dining or a special occasion. “ A cozy cafe with modern minimalist design. Owner and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They do not have super wide range menu but can see that each of their food is special and has own selling point. True enough the food that we ordered are all up to/ above our expectation. The chicken chop with pesto rice is highly recommended. Good place for family gathering or friends hangout. Perhaps the only shortcoming is the echo which can be quite annoying when the cafe is full. ”
“ Checking out this cafe that we always pass by. We had the Breakfast 2.0 & Egg Mayo Croissant (fries changed to salad, thank you for accommodating my request) with Latte & Roasted Hazelnut Latte. Food & coffee were okay. Nice, cosy cafe. ”
“ Honestly, I like this place very much. I had my dinner here with my family. I believe the foods are quite kids friendly. We tried Nyonya fried rice, lemongrass grill chicken with pesto cranberry rice, nuggets, pizza. Overall are good taste but slightly salty. One thing perhaps they can do as improvement to sustain a business is oil control. I slightly slanting my plate of chicken chop for photoshooting but afterwards I was shocked to see the amount of oil as in pic shown. Will come back again, and wish to see improvement. Thanks for good service ”
“ Good choice as I randomly pick this place for a quick coffee before my pb game later. Look at the traffic out there, it’s better to tuck yourself at this quaint corner, and have a cup of really good ice coffee. ”
“ Cozy cafe with plenty of greenery, great coffee, and friendly service. Perfect for a chill hangout ”
“ I like the modern deco with warm lights and dash of greenery. The soft music adds to the ambience. Ordering the done through scanning a QR code. The grilled chicken chop I ordered was juicy, tender and flavourful. I found out later that I could order without sides if I want. Also, I can choose a lite version of the Big Breakfast - choosing 3 ingredients - pay less and choose only what I want. The only problem with this place is the parking. I found out there is a parking lot in front of it (as opposed to to street parking). So next time, I can try that if I have parking problem. ”
“ Seemed a nice cafe with good relaxing music. Easy to order using the QR, and pay directly online. We ordered peppermint tea and flat white latte. Staff were nice and polite. Maybe only thing is the noise in this cafe, just bouncing off the walls. Can be quite unpleasant if others are talking loudly. But I guess this place is meant to be a nice place to hang out. Parking a bit hard to find but easier to park at the parking lot opposite. Weekend just pay rm 1 per entry. ”
